Moreover was launching its News
Feed Service online back in the internet heyday.
To gain traction quickly and to identify themseleves
with a well known brandname we created a promotion
to give new members of the Moreover Service a
full year subscription to Business 2.0 (one of
the hottest Internet magazines in circulation
at that time). Unlike the other case studies above,
this program was designed around one title only
and customers did not have other titles to choose
from. When the new member filled out their signup
application, Moreover.com simply recorded their name
and address and sent us a file periodically with
the names and addresses of the participants. Then,
through regular mail, Moreover sent out a postcard
with a personalized message announcing
the full year.
